the publication (and acceptance by Church leadership) of Bishop Brook Foss Westcott's and Professor Fenton
John Anthony Hort's edited Greek Text of the New Testament.
Since that time, doubt has been steadily cast upon the integrity of the Word of God, and the
flood gates were opened for "Bibles" of every sort and persuasion to be published...
each one claiming to be the best and most accurate version
ever.
